This freshly squeezed lemonade formula is made of only three ingredients. It’s completely sweet (but not too sweet!), Make it the best refreshing summer drink. Take it to barbecue, take it with you, or enjoy it at home.

What I like about this drink:

Delicious – this is the best lemonade formula, which completely destroys the taste of lemonade purchased in various stores. No other lemonade has been measured – it’s delicious!

You only need three ingredients – lemon, sugar and water. You can easily adjust the sweetness according to your preferences. Be sure to add a lot of ice.

Freeze friendly – I like to double the recipe and freeze it (before adding water) to make fresh lemonade at any time.

Lemonade material:

Lemon: in this recipe, fresh lemon is very important for the wonderful taste of fresh lemon water. According to the size of lemons, you need 6-8 medium-sized lemons to get 1.5 cups of lemon juice with this recipe.

Sugar: dissolve white granulated sugar in water to make simple syrup.

Water: the amount of water added depends on the sweetness of lemonade.

How to make lemonade:

Make simple syrup: add sugar and 2 cups of water to the pan. Boil gently and stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat source and cool to room temperature.

Lemon juice: lemon juice is put into a water can through a fine screen.

Fresh lemons being juiced, then poured through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.

Mix syrup and lemon juice: season with water until the desired sweetness of lemonade is achieved.

Cold: cool and enjoy on ice.

Professional tips:

How to choose juicy lemons: when choosing lemons in grocery stores, look for soft lemons that represent juicy lemons. If you pick up two lemons of the same size, the heavier one will be juicy.

How to make lemon juice: make sure the lemon is at room temperature before squeezing the juice out of the lemon. When using this hand-held juicer, put the lemon into it with the cut side down. You can also make lemon juice with a fork. You can use the sharp teeth of the fork and the curved edge of the fork to move around the meat in the fruit to drain all the juice.

Preparation and freezing procedures:

Preemptive: you can make this simple lemonade recipe and store it in the refrigerator 1-2 days in advance. Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 7 days (but I promise they won’t last that long).

Freezing: you can freeze and store the concentrated lemon juice in this recipe to make homemade lemonade at any time. Mix the frozen simple syrup with fresh lemon juice. Pour into the freezing bag and freeze for up to 5 months. Thaw the mixture and add it to the dispenser. Add water until it is as sweet as you like.
